• Introduction to the SES
• Why consider joining the SES?
• Brief overview of Executive Core Qualifications (ECQs)
• How to get to the SES (i.e. what steps can be taken now to help your development? e.g. training, detail opportunities, programs such as FEI, mentoring, etc.)
• A moderated panel with Senior Executives

Speed Mentoring

Participants will have the ability to speak with distinguished executives and GS-15 employees and provided with one-on-one advice, including:

• How to prepare and position oneself for a federal job
• How to engage with a formal or informal mentor; Learning to effectively speak about career goals and skills to potential employers
• How to prepare for an interview
