On July 10, 2016, at 3 pm, the National Committee of Asian American Republicans held its first meeting of the Northern Virginia (NOVA) Chapter of Asian.GOP. The location of the event was at 2240-C Gallows Road, Vienna, VA.
Among the topics discussed was what Asian.GOP and Asian Americans can do in the upcoming election, and why we need a national Asian American Republican platform. As the day unfolded, the group was introduced to the new Asian.GOP website (www.Asian.GOP) and held a discussion about Asian.GOP, its mission, and the milestones that have been achieved as well as news about the progress of Asian.GOP in building two chapters in South Florida. Mr. Cliff Li, President of Asian.GOP, congratulated over 20 Asian Americans from Virginia and Maryland for initiating the NOVA chapter and building the framework for a vibrant chapter near the Nation's capital.
