On January 6, 2018, eighty-six members of South Florida’s Chinese American community attended the Asian GOP Broward Chapter’s Tax Reform Forum. Our guest speakers, Julio Gonzalez and U.S. Congressional candidate Paul Spain, discussed the implications of recent tax reforms, and we thank them for making the event so successful.

Asian GOP National Executive Director, Cliff Li, encouraged everybody to become a GOP member, and to get involved in his or her local Asian GOP Chapter. As Cliff said, Chinese Americans have long been financially prosperous, now is the time for us to become politically successful. As long as we adhere to traditional Chinese values of merit, hard work, self-responsibility and family, unite together, care about ourselves, our community and our country, we can become a positive force in American politics and, in doing so, assure a bright future for all.
